Such an agreement allows you, under certain conditions, to benefit from the Québec Health Insurance Plan right away when you come to Québec to pursue work. However, you must meet certain conditions. Certificate of coverage You must provide a certificate of coverage under your country’s social security plan to be exempted from the waiting period. If you do not have it, you can request it from the competent authorities in your country.
